Routine is the concept for a magazine exploring the mundane, everyday things we all do. The first issue explores showering, looking at the subject at face value, then going in further to find out what people do when no one is watching, and the deeper, more philosophical aspects of the activities we all take for granted. The risoprinted magazine would be monochromatic, giving each issue a distinct look. There is a focus on texture and tactility which intends to engulf the reader in the activity.
Continuing the feeling of experience and immersion, playful elements such as die cut confessional screens bookend a section on shower secrets. This section features collages illustrating confessions, with the original statements written on smaller black pages which feel more intimate and secretive.
